Star Trek Online MMORPG First Impressions "Is It Worth Playing?"
If you like role playing your characters or building of the story with what's in your head, you can stick it out a bit longer and still enjoy it.
It's impressive that this is an MMO that you can play from both your ship and as an individual avatar, but beyond these points, it leaves a lot to be desired and please click for source relies solely on article source premise of being Star Trek.
The story is disappointing, convoluted and transparently flaud, and not at all "Trek" for anyone who wants to play around in that universe.
It has since become a game that shoots players through the beginning content until they reach the highest level where the only way you can really excel or compete is to pay more money for virtual ships, guns, do-dads, etc.
Gamers will know this as "Pay-to-Win.
What voice acting there may be is mournful and comedic, and the only saving grace that I スタートレックオンラインゲームプレイ is that it isn't recognized as being cannon, or official within the universe's history.
My final note is less analytical.
I am not a gamer, and I only purchased this because I am a fan of the franchise.
I kept with it for a good while because I enjoyed the core notion of getting your own ship and exploring not that there's really any exploration.
I continued to enjoy it for the personal interest, スタートレックオンラインゲームプレイ for anyone wanting to simply live out the little fantasy of having a starship, this is a great game to do that with.
The game in and of itself スタートレックオンラインゲームプレイ is pretty mediocre for those looking for a quality product.
As the saying goes "It's a mile wide and an inch deep".
That means that while the Star Trek franchise has a lot of potential this game does not deliver on that potential.
The Good: Space battles are fairly fun The スタートレックオンラインゲームプレイ while 穏やかなカジノのブラックジャックの最低 inventive is serviceable Character customization is very good The スタートレックオンラインゲームプレイ Ground combat is underdeveloped Quests 古典的なゲームプレイステーション3 basically the same as in all other MMOs The auction house interface is crude and primitive The economy is out of balance but that is fairly normal for a new MMO Server stability is poor but that is also fairly normal for a new MMO The Ugly: The Klingon faction is only about 12% developed.
There are very very few PvE Player Vs.
Environment quests and in the PvP Player Vs.
Player quests your nothing more than easily killed cannon fodder for Federation players.
Very little end game content.
They have added a little end game content last patch but it's like trying to fill an empty lake with a thimble.
It's a bit hard to figure out what an item does such as, Trans-spacial Deflectors: +7 Anomaly.
After you do figure out what something does it's somewhat hard to understand if it's better or worse than another item.
It's not as clear cut as in other MMO's.
Update: The path finding AI is as dumb as a mentally challenged cockroach.
Every time I walk through a door two or three of my crew will get stuck trying to make it through.
I don't know what the problem is the door is fairly wide but the crew member just runs in place against the wall.
Sometimes when on a planet crew members will fall down a cliff and cannot get out.
Summary: This game was released far to early, it needed about 6-8 months more work then a month and a half open beta before it would be on solid ground.
As it stands I would say to wait for the first expansion, just as some people wait for the first service pack before buying a new version スタートレックオンラインゲームプレイ Windows.
Unfortunately for Cryptic Star Wars: The Old Republic is due out about the time they might have an expansion out for Star Trek Online.
The Old Republic looks to be a much higher quality game that Star Trek Online but we will see.
I will stay with Star Trek Online for a while and see what happens but I'm not anticipating Star Trek Online to rise in quality to challenge Star Wars: The Old Republic.
Cryptic had the chance to have a rich well like franchise turn https://deposit-casinos-win.site/1/1385.html a great and profitable MMO but they went the cheap and easy path by just slapping Star Trek makeup onto Champions Online and rushed even that out the door before it was fully cooked.
They are milking the franchise name kinda like Star Trek Enterprise did with the TV series.
Cryptic attempted to stay true to the current Trek Canon, which leaves for a mixed blessing.
Trekkies will find many references to events spanning the Original Series all the way up to Enterprise.
The player starts by making an Engineer, Science or Tactical officer and the tutorial takes it from there.
The game is played スタートレックオンラインゲームプレイ as a space based sim and a ground based squad game.
This isn't Wing Commander as capital ships do not turn so quickly so expect a bit of frustration with some was 馬の繁殖ゲーム無料オンライン think designs that turn slower than a bus with flat tires.
The ships are widely customizable, from purely cosmetic ship hulls and colors to various weapons and weapon types.
As you gain rank, you will eventually be granted access to higher tier ships.
Ground based missions are squad based.
If you can't find anyone to group with no problem, as you can beam down with npc bridge officers.
Their AI is pretty good, they will move out of environmental hazards and heal you if you get hurt if possible.
You have various personal weapon types from pistols, rifles, dual-pistols and assault cannons.
Each can be of various types disruptor, phaser, etc which have different effects.
Unfortunately, since you can use npc's all the time, there is little reason to group with anyone for ground missions.
Space missions scale with you, so if you go in solo it will be scaled for solo play.
There are "fleet actions" which are the game's version of raids, yet for the amount of time you invest the rewards are frequently disappointing.
Not to mention that there is no grouping up and starting the Fleet Action you just zone in and continue it from whatever point it is currently in.
The player choice of officer type really has little effect on the ground gameplay.
There are no weapon restrictions so your Science healer officer can go charging in with a full assault rifle if they choose.
Only difference is the "kits" that once equipped grant a few special abilities.
Only Science officers can use Science kits, which typically have buff and healing abilities.
Without any kits all officer types are basically the same.
If you are looking for a new mmo to dive in to, this is not the game for you.
If you want a decent online single player experience that will keep you occupied for a month or two, then Star Trek Online may fit your needs.

The question is interesting, I too will take part in discussion. Together we can come to a right answer.
I am sorry, that I interfere, but you could not paint little bit more in detail.
I am final, I am sorry, but, in my opinion, it is obvious.
